Short description: We've now been using corpus data for linguistic and lexicographic research for a quarter of a century or more. Findings from the research are slowly finding their way into the language classroom, mainly in the form of dictionaries and grammars; but raw data are still relatively rarely used, although almost everyone who does use them reports increased language awareness among their students.
