Short description: The CUE ESP Symposium--Hokuriku 2013 features: A plenary presentation from two of the foremost experts in English for Specific Purposes (ESP) and English for Academic Purposes (EAP) publishing in Japan; interactive workshops and research presentations addressing some of the barriers faced by non-native speakers (NNS) seeking to publish in English; a chance to share your own ESP work during the poster presentation session; and a round-table discussion of difficulties both native and non-native speakers of English face in when they seek to publish in English.
