Writing a Research Paper for Publication

Description:
This presentation will discuss the process of writing a research paper for publication. The first part of this three-part talk will examine the principles behind qualitative and quantitative research methods in the hope that participants will learn more about their own particular research inclinations. The second part of the talk will provide a step-by-step description of how to write a research paper with a focus on experimental research in the teaching of foreign languages. The final part of this presentation will discuss the processes involved in getting published in a refereed journal, from the submission of a paper through to its publication.
