This presentation introduces The Balanced Curriculum, a post-method pedagogical model for the teaching and learning of languages. The session will introduce the different types of focus that students need in order to learn a language. The model will be explained with reference to The Cycle of Learning, that is the different kinds of processes that learner go through at different stages in their acquisition of a foreign language.
