Gifu JALT:

Storytelling in the EFL Classroom

Date: Saturday, July 16th, 2005 Time: 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM

Speaker: Sean Gaffney

Description:
Sean Gaffney demonstrates how storytelling can be one of the most effective methods one can employ as a language teacher. He will present a few storytelling activities, and demonstrate techniques to use in the EFL classroom. These activities were originally designed for university students, mostly in reading and writing classes, but they have been used with conversation classes as well. Come and experience how storytelling can be modified to fit just about any EFL setting.
