Enhancing Fluency in Writing for Beginner-Level Learners: Utilizing Paper and Computer

Description:
Atsushi Iino introduces instructional procedures for writing classes, covering topics from paragraph writing to compilation of year-end books of students' works. Iino's students were high school students with average- or lower-level proficiency in English. This presentation includes Iino's initial stage of paper-based project to a computer-based project using an online BBS through a Groupware system. Even though these students were in high school, Iino will touch upon how the same instruction can be used at the college level.
