Filming and Editing in the Language Classroom

Description:
Teachers are well aware of the benefits of using video materials in class to expose students to language and cultural awareness. An alternative currently being explored is the option of student-produced video productions. This presentation will demonstrate some approaches for incorporating filming awareness in the classroom. Some teaching preparations for development of such a project will be discussed. The presenter will also discuss some examples of his current research. He has used these activities at high school and university levels.
