Yamagata JALT:
Studying Japanese, English, and German
Date: Saturday, March 10th, 2007 Time: 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM
Speaker: Reinhold Grinda
Description:
Today, knowledge of more than one foreign language can be considered a must for everybody who wants to enter society. In Germany, like in most European countries, there are ample opportunities to efficiently study whichever language you want, get introduced to the country and its culture, and sooner or later, study abroad too. The speaker has used some of these opportunities, and pursued his studies and research in Japan and England as well as in his own country. He will talk about his experiences, compare them to possibilities in Japan, and try to give some hints for effective study. Questions about any aspect of study as well as about his country will be most welcome!
