In many universities, new departments and existing programs are moving towards coordination, meaning teachers use common syllabi and materials to reach shared goals and objectives across course sections. This presentation will focus on how coordination benefits an institution, its teachers, and students. The facilitators, Heidi Evans and Juanita Heigham, will begin with a short overview of their contexts, followed by a discussion of the rewards and challenges of coordinated programs.
