Helene J. Uchida, founder of Little America (www.littleamerica.co.jp) and TEMI (formerly LATEM) is a feature writer on children's English education for the Daily Yomiuri newspaper and has been training English teachers in Japan for twenty years. She lectures at four universities and is the author of The Challenge Book Series. This seminar includes observation of Little America classes, reviewing TEMI and teaching methods, the usage of materials, TPR, games, songs, discussion concerning problems in the classroom, reviewing a local elementary school pilot program, and consultation with Helene J. Uchida. You can also learn techniques for disciplining and motivating your students. This TEMI workshop is for teachers (novices and veterans) who want to teach English to children.
