The convention theme is "Integrated English Education: from Primary through Tertiary." JACET conferences have a large number of presentations in Japanese; please consult their schedule if this is an issue. Today, registration begins at 8:30, followed by an opening speech, the JACET Award Presentation, and JACET's Business Meeting. The Keynote Address is from 10:50 to 12:00, delivered by Yoji Tanabe (of Waseda University), the President of JACET. After lunch, there will be concurrent presentations, symposia and publisher presentations.
