Description:
The Fourth Annual Asian Conference on Technology in the Classroom will be held from April 17-20 2014. The conference theme is Individual, Community, Society: Connecting, Learning and Growing. Innovations in technology have changed the way that we communicate throughout all facets of our lives. The ability to interact with individuals or groups for any purpose, anytime, and anywhere supports new ways of engaging with others, provides creative mechanisms for teaching and learning, and enhances personal, community, and societal advancement. We invite scholars, educators, administrators, policy makers, and others to join us at ACTC 2014 to explore how technological innovations facilitate our global connectedness and empower flexible and dynamic educational experiences never before possible. ACTC 2014 will attract a diverse group of educational professionals to share research and practical applications in the utilization of advanced information technologies for teaching and learning. Selected presentations will share evidence-based practices and important lessons learned so that others may benefit in their own application of similar approaches. The International Academic Forum encourages open intellectual exchange for the purpose of individual professional development, as well as enhancement of our shared disciplines and educational communities.
