Description:
The presentation will be in English, but simultaneous interpretation will be available. The lecture will focus on the amazing ability of Japanese children to absorb English and how and why the English educational system in Japan should change now. A current news report video featuring the Pilot Program that Helene Uchida is teaching at a local elementary school via will be shown and discussed. A question and answer period from participants will conclude the presentation, after which a buffet will be served and attendees will be able to share opinions with each other and talk to H. Uchida.
