An interdisciplinary event in Literature, Philosophy, and Religious Studies, the conference is focussed on contemplation and meditation with topics including poetry, novels, aesthetics, ethics, and our relation to the environment. This conference is sponsored by JSPS (Japan Society for the Promotion of Science), in association with ELSJ (English Literary Society of Japan), Kyoto Notre Dame University, The Friends of Coleridge Society, Japan Association of English Romanticism, and the British Association of Romantic Studies.
