This event is hosted by JALT Okinawa and the Teaching Young Learners SIG, and will be held online on Sunday, October 2nd, 2022, from 15:00 to 19:00 (Tokyo time). The theme of this year's conference is "Motivating Students: Energizing Teachers", with a particular focus on young learners. The keynote speaker for the conference is Penny Ur, a very well known teacher who has lectured and published extensively on English-teaching methodology. She will give a talk on "Using learning-rich games with young learners", as well as a workshop on "Inclusive teaching: Addressing the needs of different students in the English lesson". In addition, there will be a variety of presentations and workshops by a number of teachers. Click here to register and get the handbook.
