The PAAL International Conference is the annual gathering of the Pan-Pacific Association of Applied Linguistics, a global community of researchers dedicated to applied linguistics and related fields in Asian and Pan-Asian contexts. The conference was originally established as a collaboration between PAAL Japan and PAAL Korea, with the hosting alternating between these two groups of researchers. Over the years, our conference has grown in scope, attracting researchers and practitioners from around the world.
The Pan-Pacific Association of Applied Linguistics welcomes abstract submissions in all areas of applied linguistics (broadly defined).
