Teaching English to Elementary School Children: The Steiner Way

Description:
This workshop will introduce some ideas from Steiner Education which can be applied to teaching English to children. Several theoretical aspects will be dealt with. But the main part of the workshop will be devoted to "Learning by Doing."

Prof. Jaffke attended a Steiner School as a child, and has taught English at one of the Stuttgart Steiner Schools for 33 years. He has a PhD from Augsburg University. He is editor-in-chief of the series Materials for Language Teaching at Steiner Schools, which he started in 1975.
