English grammar owes a great deal to the development of Greek grammar in ancient Greece. The presentation will cover the development of eight word classes in ancient Greece and the incorporation of those word classes into the traditional English grammar. The recent popular teaching method is communicative approach and grammar tends to be ignored. This presentation may help you to think what role English grammar should play in studying and learning English.
