Yamagata JALT:
How Japanese and Germans can understand each other better through English
Date: Saturday, January 12th, 2008 Time: 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Speaker: Reinhold Grinda
Description:
The proximity of England makes it much easier for Germans, compared with Japanese people, to get thoroughly trained in everyday English. In both countries training in the English language is very different; but this is not a bad thing at all. The speaker will suggest some of the opportunities English offers for making contact between Germans and Japanese more relaxed and personal.
